Catering Manager

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for an experienced Catering Manager to drive a high volume corporate catering operation. This is a very role and will require a highly organised individual to lead the team to produce up to 1,000 covers per day.

Role Responsibility

  • Lead a large and high volume catering business, which includes a main restaurant, deli bar, shop and busy hospitality services.
  • Engage and motivate a team of 16 drive an efficient and faced paced operation
  • Develop business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs, continually seeking ways to enhance quality and efficiently
  • Monitor all areas and all aspects of delivery to ensure services are to an exceptional level
  • Fostering long term profitable relationships with the client and increase new business opportunities
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems and processes.
  • Ensure the facility adheres to all Health and Safety, COSHH and Food Safety regulations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Management experience within a large, high volume catering operation
  • Experience of leading a large team within a catering environment
  • Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments and innovations
  • Strong promotional and marketing skills
  • Strong customer focus and ability to communicate at all levels of the business
