Role Responsibility

As a Catering Assistant you will be responsible for:

Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers
Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Cleanliness and replenishing of vending machines
Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safe guarding company assets
General cleaning of the food areas

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

Previous experience in a similar role
The ability to accurately process information/merchandise through the Till system with a good standard of numeracy
Excellent customer service skills
First class communication skills and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to demonstrate great team work

Package Description

We operate Demand Led Scheduling that will be discussed in detail at interview
Working Monday to Friday from 10.30 - 2.30 and occasional Saturday working
We require our staff to be flexible and versatile to meet the needs of our Client and customers
Cateriing duties include: setting up counters for service, serving on busy counters and tills during meal and break services, potwash and plate wash duties, cleaning and hygiene duties
Hospitality duties include: making and delivering hot beverages for meetings, setting up and delivering buffet lunches as required
Vending duties include:filling and cleaning food, confectionary and hot beverage vending machines. You will be required to complete Sales Control Sheets so will need to have numeracy and literacy skills
We place a great emphasis on customer service so that we can continue to provide our Clients and customers with great customer service
Previous catering experience preferred
