Job Introduction

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious catering and soft facilities services professional to help support Sodexo’s on site service solutions at a leading client based in Ballina, Co Mayo Ireland.

This is a career enhancing role and would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career by supporting the management of a broad range of catering and other soft focused services.

Role Responsibility

  • Reporting to the site’s General Services Manager and operating as a business manager to help oversee the delivery of on-site catering services
  • Supporting the delivery of other soft services
  • Provide direction and expertise to the on site teams by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices.
  • Responsible for the leadership of employees including effective resource management, coaching  and performance management
  • Support growth the on site account via organic new business
  • Deputise for the General Services Manager in times of sickness and holidays

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven background of managing the delivery of soft facilities services
  • Strong Catering experience
  • Training staff members across catering services
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in an appropriate manner
  • Experience of presenting to, and meeting with clients.
  • Ability to produce and analyse budgets and information
  • Proven skills in building strong relationships with customers and managing their expectations
