Business Analyst

Job Introduction

Sodexo are currently recruiting an experienced Business Analyst. We are flexible on location (either Salford or London). You will be required to carry out estimates and pricing of hard (M&E, Fabric) and/or soft (Cleaning, Security, Mailroom, Reception, etc) services. Candidates will be well versed in managing concurrent enquiries for projects, preparing estimates, tenders, quantifying materials and labour costing, as well as preparing schedules of rates, specifications and negotiating prices with suppliers and preparing and presenting tenders to customers.  The role offers a competitive salary + company car + excellent benefits

Role Responsibility

 

  • Assemble accurate and realistic estimates and cost plans under the supervision of the Head of Pricing
  • Liaise with other staff and the PM/BDM involved in the procurement process
  • Attend site visits as and when required
  • Work to agreed timetables and within the company’s processes Ensure adequate and accurate supporting information/reports are available for all opportunities including first principle build ups
  • Ensure all solutions produced by bid or sales activity teams are in line with both Sodexo and Client commercial models and how each generates profit
  • Ensure that tender opportunities are qualified for building long term growth for Sodexo  as well as all new business contracts achieve revenue and profitability targets and support the objectives of Sodexo operations teams
  • Ensure smooth Due Diligence of client’s operations following a successful tender
  • Provide solution design and develop commercial content for tenders, largely independently but under supervision of a Head of Estimating

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Qualified or Experienced within a service discipline or industry equivalent
  • Estimating knowledge across the hard and/or Soft FM service sectors
  • Competent in the use of IT & Estimating packages, Excel and other software
  • Experience in identifying and selling relevant services
  • Proven success record in sales.
  • Broad commercial experience and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of external industry and developments.
