Role Responsibility
We have created a new centralised bid team to ensure an efficient, agile bid process; which will allow us to work together across the sectors drawing on our capability as a business whilst driving best practice. As part of that change we have a role that involves coordinating the whole bid process, at Sodexo we call these positions Bid Managers. This role involves managing the delivery and production of high profile, high quality bid submissions by co-ordinating a virtual team in the production of bid submissions. You will ensure innovative and market leading bids are produced through effective liaison across the Sodexo business with graphic designers, bid writers, bid library manager and bid-coordinators. As a Bid Manager you will be liaising with the sales teams, be involved from tender to completion and project manage each stage of the process.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in working with senior management to manage delivery of timelines and outputs
- Experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment ideally with facilities management knowledge
- Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills
- Strong focus on attention to detail, proven track record of successfully delivering multiple projects on time
- Relevant professional experience in supporting business development, including project management of bids, systems and processes.
- Proven capacity to effectively manage complex proposal development processes
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office and Indesign
