Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to support the security operations at either our Head Office in London or Salford.

As part of the security team on site you will provide expertise and focus to administrative control/support, requests for information and business processes by improving efficiency.

If you have a high level of energy, drive and resilience as well as an ability to do things at pace without loss of accuracy this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the administrative needs of the Security function, including the collation of information
  • Provide a basic level of administrative support to the Secure teams and the wider Centre of Excellence function including, diary management and accommodation/travel bookings in accordance with the company travel booking policy when required
  • Type and/or compile meeting and workshop output from an appropriate brief
  • Develop beneficial internal and external relationships
  • Produce, prepare and issue reports in a Word or Excel format as required
  • Ensure Security distribution lists are maintained in line with organisational changes
  • Take ownership of database management and updating of appropriate process flows
  • Monitor SIA tracker for revoked licenses.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Good standard of education required, including Maths, English & IT
  • Strong interactive communication skills

Desirable

  • Proven security experience
  • SIA licence holder
  • Experience of competitive tender process
  • PC literate, an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products is essential (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing tools
  • Experience of time management and prioritising
  • Previous operational experience is preferred
  • Previous experience of checking and verifying ID documentation.
