Administrator - 12 month contract

Job Introduction

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Sodexo team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract working within a small finance team.

Sodexo are a leading global facilities management business.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure all information is enteredin the system
  • Be able to interpret the shift patterns and understand employee work patterns / rules and advise of any anomalies
  • Update all the annual leave
  • Keep an accurate record of all amendments
  • Produce weekly Kronos roster schedules
  • Work with the managers / finance team to ensure all pay queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Assist in investigating and reporting variances
  • Cash counting, safe audits & banking
  • Ensure invoices are appropriately checked against delivery

The Ideal Candidate

  • IT Literate – with good Word / Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to  communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels
  • Calm and professional telephone manner
  • Able to prioritise own workload and work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to handle a busy workload
  • Ability to balance being proactive and reactive
  • Able to work on own initiative and make appropriate judgements when prioritising
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
  • Posses a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriate
  • Flexible approach
