Act2care Facilitator

Role Responsibility
We now seek applicants for two facilitator roles which will involve delivering a training module to new recruits and existing staff on a regular basis focussing around the Act2care objectives. This will require attending an offsite 3-day course in May, run by the Scottish Prison Service, which you will, in turn deliver internally.
The Ideal Candidate
It is important to note that full, comprehensive training will be given to enable existing PCOs to make the transition; we do however require badged PCOs with the following attributes:
- Minimum of six months service
- Passion for reducing self harm and suicide
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Willingness/confidence to present the module on a regular basis to new recruits and existing staff.
- This would be in addition to the substantive role as PCO
