AV Support Technician
Job Introduction

Role Responsibility
- Building occupants to receive a 5 star service experience.
- All faults, issues and concerns to be addressed, resolved and reported in a timely and efficient manner.
- Building users to have access to the AV Support Technician service as required.
- AV support to be provided in both planned and reactive situations.
- Compliance with all SLA’s.
- Building users supported to carry out their business seamlessly.
- Building users supported by AV technical team to avoid disruption to client business.
- Effiicient and expert support for meetings, conferencing and events – time back to science.
- Improved Customer and colleague technical knowledge through emerging trends identification and training activities.
The Ideal Candidate
Excellent Customer services skills and a high level of experience in prestigious virtual meeting/ conferencing environments
Relevant training, qualifications and experience to deliver services in line with role requirements
A desire to learn and develop own skill set
Positive, ‘can do’ enthusiastic attitude with a personable, confident and professional manner when dealing with Customers and Clients in a corporate environment
The ability/ initiative to work on your own and prioritise and manage your own time
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Ability to collaborate and communicate with other internal functions and team members
Proven fault finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Capability, calmness and confidence when working under pressure
At least 2 years experience working within an AV service/support environment with a strong knowledge of a range of AV equipment and personal devices
Technical experience/ proficiency/ competency in:
Audio visual equipment, Cisco/ Polycom conferencing equipment, LCD/ screen technologies / display devices/ AMX/ microphones, Wireless presentation/ camerawork/ IP protocal/ Smart Technologies/ Cloud Technologies (VMR)
High competency level of computer systems and devices including:
Skype/ Windows/MAC OS, Share-point, and Microsoft Office
Apple devices/ Lenovo devices/ Surface Pro/ smart phones and tablets
InfoComm CTS accreditation is desirable
Experience with focusing on individual customer requirements and care whilst meeting required service levels
Awareness of the need to provide services in a sensitive manner such as not to affect AZ’s business, reputation or share value.
Ability to handle feedback in a calm, structured and professional manner.
Ability to challenge ideas and opinions in sometimes confrontational situations
Experience in a global or international environment would be a plus
Working 40 hours per week with flexibility required
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or hold a valid UK permit (no sponsorship offered), full and clean UK driving licence, up to date passport and be willing/ able to travel within the area on a regular basis
